A family story

DEBEAULIEU is almost an aptonym (a proper name that corresponds to the profession of its bearer). It is the maternal surname of the founder, Pierre Banchereau. Creating “beautiful places” is almost instinctive for someone who grew up in a family of aesthetes, sensitive to art and culture, as well as to gardening and the know-how necessary for creating a vegetable garden. Alongside his grandparents, Pierre Banchereau developed a strong sensitivity and creative eye, as well as an attachment to the land and its traditions. This blend of influences provides him with a wide range of expression.

The mixing of inspirations is an inexhaustible creative force. I like to draw inspiration from everything, from history as well as emerging trends and talents, to combine, distort, reinterpret and never get bored.
