Ceramic Pitcher Signed C. VOLTZ
An iconic piece of French art pottery from the mid-20th century, this pitcher is the work of Charles VOLTZ, a recognized figure from the golden age of the Vallauris workshops.
It features a flared conical shape, equipped with a large side handle and a pronounced spout. The glazing work displays a striking chromatic contrast: a deep black background highlights a wide central band with a zigzag graphic pattern, evoking stylized flames in coral and terracotta hues. The interior reveals the regular striations from manual turning, covered with a bright white glaze. The whole is preserved in very good condition.
A collectible item with a strong visual presence, it naturally fits into a sharp or vintage interior. Perfectly watertight and stable, this modernist pitcher is ideally used as a true character vase to structure generous bouquets of fresh flowers, voluminous foliage, or long graphic stems.
