Italian Ceramic Spiked Vase Moroni

A true sculpture of rare graphic boldness, this ceramic vase with spikes is an authentic creation from the Moroni workshop in San Remo. An emblematic piece of Italian design from the 1950s-1960s, it stands out with its surface entirely covered in sharp spikes shaped by hand. The deep carmine red glazing, textured and veined with black, creates a striking relief and movement effect. The base bears the incised handwritten signature "Moroni San Remo Italy" as well as the model number "222". The interior features an original bituminous coating.

This authentic vase has lived and shows signs of time that testify to its history: chips and nicks are visible on some spikes, inherent to the handling of this type of ceramic, as well as normal signs of use.
